Coastal Inspiration

Here's the next pair of designs from Elements that's now available as a single pattern - and this time it's a duo with both the Cushion and Runner being included on the same pattern.

I'm lucky enough to live by the sea and so I get to walk along the beach and coastal paths on a regular basis. There are few sights more beautiful than seeing an expanse of sandy shore give way to the watery horizon. The beach never stays the same from one day to the next, strange and intriguing patterns appear on the sand and curiosities are washed up for us to wonder about where they have come from and of their journey there.

All of this I've tried to capture with my Coastal Cushion and Bed Runner. An expansive sea horizon stretches out in stripes across the Bed Runner. Incidentally the  Runner also looks fabulous worn as a wrap, great for keeping summer evening chills off bare shoulders.

The cushion shares it's sea view with the Runner, but the back draws it's inspiration from the rippled sand and is finished with my favourite Pembrokeshire slate buttons.
