Halcyon Daze published in Knit Now Magazine

After many months of anticipation, I’m delighted to finally share with you that my Halcyon Daze design has been published in this month's Knit Now Magazine (issue 170). It seems a long time ago since early January when I submitted my design outline, and then the subsequent pattern and knitted sample were sent off to the Knit Now team in early March.  Halcyon Daze is a multi-way wrap which, once you get into it can be a good option for TV or more social knitting. It's a simple rectangle knitted flat with easy to memorise lace stitches and moss stitch edges. Cleverly placed buttons and button holes along the edges enable this summery wrap to transform into a sleeved shrug, poncho, tube scarf or cape - you may even come up with another way to wear it!

It's always a thrill to see one of your designs printed in a Magazine. Especially these days when we view most things online - I really enjoy the convenience of digital publications, but there is something really luxurious about settling down with cuppa in hand and a real paper copy of a magazine, don't you think? Do you treat yourself to the occasional magazine? If so, what's your favourite and why?

BTW - If you are wondering were you can get a printed copy, Knit Now is widely available in UK newsagents and supermarkets, but you can also get copies online here.
